I don’t much like the 17th amendment either...
It moved us closer to a pure
democracy, and caused
a massive shift of power from the states to the federal
government. I want the governors of this country to step up, call
for a Constitutional Convention and repeal it!

I don’t much like the 16th amendment because it marked an inflection point in the sucking up of power into the federal government. Time to get the pendulum swinging the other way. Less power and money to the Feds. DECREASE it and/or bring...
